What is schema markup?

Schema markup (structured data) is a standardized vocabulary from schema.org that describes your page’s content to search engines. Added as JSON-LD — Google’s recommended format — it can unlock rich results like review stars, FAQ accordions, product prices, and breadcrumb trails in search.
